Snapshot in Time: Silhouettes and Sundown on Rabbit Island, aka Koh Thonsay

With a prime setting in the Gulf of Thailand and easily reachable from nearby Kep, Sihanoukville or Koh Kong, Koh Thonsay (which translates to ‘Rabbit Island’) is an archetypal Cambodian beach getaway and all the better for it.

All the quintessential island highlights are in check – palm trees, timber bungalows, beach bars, candlelight and an easy-going, rustic charm – meaning visitors can afford to sit back and unwind as the departing sun leaves an iridescent imprint on the sky above.

Sure was! If you’ve never been I’d definitely recommend it. Sky over Cambodia tends to glow in a very special way.
