Follow the Mekong: Hitching a Ride Around Kampot

Any visitor to Southeast Asia will be more than aware of the plentiful methods of getting around. Kampot, on the banks of the Mekong in Cambodia, is no exception to that rule.

Zippy motorbike taxis are ideal for attacking the dirt roads with pace and precision. Meanwhile, the iconic tuks tuks belie their size with displays of impressive manoeuvrability. More often than not the choice lies with the passenger: will they want their chariots to offer speed or bulk?
